Esther 1:17, Question 3. Why is the word “bi’amram” (“in being said”) in the masculine if it is referring to women speaking?

Rabbi Dovid Feinstein (today is his father’s yahrzeit) suggests that using a masculine verb in the place of a male version is indicative of the gender role confusion discussed in yesterday’s blog.
